Once there was a talk show host named Katie Peterson who hosted The Katie Peterson show.

The show was syndicated nationwide by The Katie Peterson production company.

Now, the funny thing about her show is that Katie could talk to her viewers and they could talk back. The way this was done is that each person had a microphone attached to their TV.

One day a sixteen year old girl started watching the show and Katie noticed.

“Hello there, my name is Katie Peterson”, she said.

“My name is Jenny Johnson. I’m very happy to be watching your show”, she replied.

“What kind of entertainment do you like?”, Katie asked.

“I like games and artwork”, Jenny answered. This made Katie happy because that’s what she did.

Katie was often asked to baby-sit children while their parents were busy with important things.

One day Jenny’s Mom, Linda, came into the room while Jenny was watching the show.

“Jenny, I’m going out for awhile and Katie is going to keep you company“.

“Okay Mom, that’s good”, Jenny said.

Linda turned to Katie and smiled at her.

“Katie, I have to go out for awhile, so I’m leaving Jenny with you”.

“That’s okay. I can keep her company when you’re gone, although I do have a commercial break coming up“, Katie said.

“Thanks Katie, I’ll be back when I can”, Linda replied.

Linda turned to her daughter and gave her a kiss on the cheek.

“Now, Jenny, I’m leaving so be good for Katie okay!”, she said.

“Okay, I will be good“, Jenny said. Linda left and it was just the girls.

“Jenny I’m going to go to a commercial break right now, but I’ll be right back”, Katie said.

“Okay, I’m going to go get a drink and then we will both return”, Jenny replied.

When the commercial break was over Katie and Jenny returned together.

Katie did a segment entitled Artwork From My Kids. She showed all the viewers artwork that her kids Danny, Rebecca and Melissa had made.

After Artwork From My Kids was over, Jenny clapped her hands really loud so Katie could hear.

“Jenny, I’m glad you liked all those pictures”, Katie said.

“Thanks Katie”, Jenny replied.

Katie was about to start a game when suddenly she got a phone call from somebody.

“Hello Katie, this is Mindy, one of your viewers”, the voice said.

“Hi Mindy, it is nice to hear from you”, Katie replied.

“I am calling you to tell you that I enjoyed those pictures”, Mindy said.

“Thanks Mindy! I’m glad that you enjoyed those pictures. I have to start a game now”, Katie said.

“Okay, Katie, it was good talking to you and I hope that you have a nice day!”, Mindy said.

After Katie hung up the phone, she had her studio audience participate in game of Musical Chairs.

Jenny watched the game and enjoyed it very much.

After the game Katie asked Jenny if she liked it.

“Did you like the game, Jenny?”, she asked.

“Yes, I did!”, Jenny answered.

“Well, I’m going to go to another commercial break. Your Mom should be back soon”, Katie replied.

During the commercial break Jenny went downstairs to see if her mother had returned.

Linda had returned home and she hugged her daughter.

“Jenny, were you a good girl?”, she asked.

“Yes, I was!”, Jenny answered.

Jenny went back upstairs to her room.

Katie had come back from commercial break and was going to do something new on her show. Now when Katie started a new part of her show she would always make sure her audience was ready by ringing a bell to alert their minds about what was coming.

Katie started a new segment in which she sang some songs.

Now, Katie had two ways of making sure certain parts of her show stayed inside the minds of her audience members. If they were at home she looked inside their minds through a crystal ball and if they were at a taping of the show, she would tap the top of their heads lightly with a pencil.

Katie always ended her show by letting her audience members choose and plan what she should do the next time the show was on.

The End.
